Like iPhone users, Android users not able see there Battery Health in setting. Android owner currently use third party apps to monitor there phones battery health. To resolve this issue, Google adds hidden “batter health page” in Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2.
Android new Battery Health Monitor Features
Mishaal Rahman android expert who wrote about the hidden “battery health” page in the Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2 for Android Authority. He says, the page doesn’t display actual battery health meter currently. There is a code which shows and suggests that this feature displays soon
Rahman discovered icons indicating issues such as diminished battery capacity or the inability to detect the battery. Additionally, he noted that the Settings app will provide “tips” in case of updates related to battery health, such as when the phone cannot detect the battery or when the battery health is deteriorating.
Google promises to extend battery life
Google is keeping its promise to support Android devices with software updates for a long time, as seen with the Pixel 8 series getting updates for seven years. The upcoming Android 15 will introduce a new battery health page in the Settings. This page will estimate the current capacity of your battery and offer tips for maintenance. It will also let you know if the battery has been replaced.
